Webinar Description

In the Business Analysis world, we often have to deal with conflict between members of the teams we are working with. These conflicts which may have come about through misunderstandings, values-clashes or people just not getting what they want. And of course, though we may not want to admit it, we have our own dramas too. 🙂

In this 1-hour webinar, Marian Way starts by asking us to consider our own conflicts and dramas. How so we respond in situations when we’re not getting what we want? Marian provides some different lenses through which we can look at our own dramas, and those of our customers.

Marian then offers tools, based on a methodology called Clean Language*, that can help us to resolve our own dramas and put steps into place to limit future conflict. And as the webinar progresses, I offer suggestions for using the tools in a Business Analysis context. There will also be time for Q&A.

*Clean Language is a communication process developed by psychologist David Grove, which uses a set of simple assumption-free questions that are blended the other person’s own words, to clarify or extend someone’s thinking.
